Okay ladies I know I have been slacking but I'm Back! And I came with gifts! I came cross a dope makeup artist from NYC and she is amazing in her line of work. She has beat the faces of many including celebrity hairstylist Kim Kimble! How cool is that? And can you believe the dream all started in a frozen yogurt shop!? I introduce to you guys Melissa B Olive also known as @beautyby_Melissa. This lovely lady expresses her beautiful personality through her work with her glitters and vibrant colors. I know who I'm booking for my next event. I took the time to get to know Melissa and find out why she made the decision to dive into the makeup world because as a fellow MUA that decision is not easy. Also she takes us into her plans for the upcoming months.
Melissa: When I was working at a frozen yogurt shop the manager and I both loved playing in makeup and she basically pushed me and gave me the confidence to actually start taking seriously and pursuing as a career. My platform is a place where all women can come to and feel confident and beautiful. It has something for everyone, I love to cater to all women. My focus for myself and my brand is being able to build my clientele and get better at my craft. I began doing makeup about 2 years ago. Within I the next few months I want to be able to have a steady clientele maybe even start traveling. I especially want to start having more brides.
