Written in Pink: Bria Forney

A few weeks ago I got the chance to link up with a DOPE blogger such as myself, Bria Forney. Her bright personality and drive to make it to the top made me so excited to work with her. Being a blogger myself I could relate with Bria on how time consuming and difficult it can be. Starting the blog isn't the hard part, it takes someone who is dedicated and can do the hard work. Bria's blog THE PINK PEN is mainly designed around the empowerment of women, and showcasing them to the world. Her motto is " Why compete when you can collaborate".

I had the privilege of discussing THE PINK PEN with Bria and asked a few questions that helped me understand her vision. And also an inside scoop on what she has planned next! What inspired THE PINK PEN? The Pink Pen was inspired by my love of female empowerment and my love of writing. I’m always trying to link and connect with other females that are doing major things, so my blog was a good platform for that.

What is your platform? My platform is females, female entrepreneurship and anything involving female progression. I’m all about women advancing and getting their business out there.

What are some upcoming things you have planned for ThePinkPen? I have an event planned for November, which will be a networking mixer. I plan to have all brands and entrepreneurs come, exchange ideas and contact info, so we can enter 2017 stronger than 2016. Each year I want us as females, to advance and help each other as much as possible. Historically, females have been labeled as catty and tearing each other down; let’s change that.

When did it all begin? It all began two years ago, but I just started the blog in March of 2016. Where do you see your blog within the next few months? I see my blog having interviews with more entrepreneurs, and receiving a lot of traffic!
