Hey Queens!! I've missed you guys. Well I'm back to share my new discovery with you. A few weeks ago I came across Antonya Dorcely, also known as Starr. She's a 17 year old makeup artist and hair guru located in Hillside, NJ. I reached out to her because I love her work and I wanted to showcase it here for you all. I got a chance to interview Starr and she had a lot to say about her passion for the makeup industry and why she decided to enter that world. "While growing up, I always was the youngest out of whoever I hung out with. Being that everyone around me was so much older, they all wore makeup and I became fascinated by makeup because of how diverse it is. With seeing those people around wear it, I began watching tutorials on YouTube and my love for makeup never ended", says Starr. In the next few months Starr, hopes to take TOUCHEDBYSTARR to the next level. She hopes to see herself doing a lot more collaborations with different photographers. Starr's advice to those looking to follow in her footsteps is to not let critiques make you feel different about your work. Just keep working hard, and you'll get better because "practice makes perfect." ​My advice to you all , stay tuned for what Starr has planned next. She just may become the next big thing
