#ShesBossy :Brittany & Priscilla BRNZ
Queens! I introduce to you the dynamic duo Brittany and Priscilla. How cute are they? Brittany and Priscilla are the creators of BRNZ, which is a beauty, fashion, and lifestyle blog. I came across these flawless ladies on Instagram and instantly fell in love with their content. Not only was I so interested, I kept coming back for more! So of course I had to reach out and get the inside scoop on these two BOSS ladies.
I was more interested in how these two met more than anything. So I popped the question, and they gave me a little insight. "We went to the same high school, the same University, we even played against each other on opposing travel soccer teams. During our college years, we bonded over our mutual love for beauty and fashion. Brittany was doing modeling and styling and Priscilla was also starting to dabble in freelance makeup. We would even collaborate on some shoots. So towards the end of 2015, we started talking about how amazing it would be to take our personal love for fashion and beauty and collaborate together in the form of a blog. Since we already had a history of working together and a sense of trust, we were able to start creating our blog in the beginning of 2016, which eventually launched in May 2016". I'd like to say that they are almost like the upcoming power couple of blogging.
Of course that wasn't all I asked, I wouldn't leave my queens hanging. Here is some
more inside scoop on BRNZ the blog:
1. Brief summary of who you are, goals and aspirations.
We have a lot in common actually. We both work in the Beauty and Fashion industry, our birthdays are only days apart, and we are both women of color that were raised by immigrants.
Our current goals primarily involve focusing on growing our blog and turning ourselves into a solidified brand. We are moving toward getting more involved with non-profit foundations and ultimately would love to expand our brand to travel blogging as well.
2. What is your platform for you blog ( Your Why)?
South Florida is one of those special areas that is rich in diversity and full of influences from all over the world. We want to show through our personal takes on beauty, fashion and lifestyle that sometimes two perspectives can be better than one and how they can work well together. We are like minded and tend to want the same things, but we still have our differences individually which can both be equally appreciated and celebrated.
3. Why the name BRNZ?
First off, let's clarify that BRNZ is pronounced just like BRONZE :) In trying to come up with our blog name, we wanted it to represent the both of us and our hometown of South Florida. We both felt like when you think of the color bronze, it’s such a complimentary color for makeup for any skin tone and it totally gives off tropical sun kissed vibes. Of course, we also have gorgeous beaches. So in trying to come up with the name and logo design, one of our friends suggested to drop the vowels of the word “BRONZE”, and that’s how BRNZ was born.
4. Next step for BRNZ Blog in the upcoming month?
We have an upcoming trip to California in April, where we plan to create great content for our followers and hopefully connect and collaborate with some amazing people while we’re there. AND YouTube! We cannot wait to start creating awesome content for our YouTube Channel and for our followers to get to know us more.
