I had the privilege of coming across a genuine up and coming artist who goes by Normandy Stovers. Located in Jersey and ready to take over. Normandy's love for bright bold colors shows in her work, and I'm sure like most artist it is a reflection of her BOMB personality. I had the chance to chit chat with Norm a little bit and get to know who she was before she decided to take over the makeup world. Why she made that decision and what her plans are for the future. She had a lot to say so here is a little bit of what she shared.

NORMANDY: ​Growing up in high school all of my friends and the people around me all had a hobby or sport that they managed to master, meanwhile me being the plain jane pretty much sucked at everything... Sports, doing hair you name it. It wasn't until My sophomore year of college that I started to take a turn to makeup. Just starting with powder foundation and mascara, now i've blossomed into a young woman who won't leave the house without a full beat! I started to notice other college girls who did makeup and it was like a switch went off, and just like that I was hooked. I wanted to try every single makeup product that hit the racks. Makeup has not only become a hobby, skill and love of mine it has become apart of who I am. Ultimately, what inspired me to do makeup was my passion to enhance not only myself inside and out, but woman everywhere who want to look beautiful! I am new to the business of doing makeup on others I planned to have makeup shoots on not ONLY WOC but woman of every complexion so that woman of all different complexions and races feel comfortable coming to me for a full beat! Within the next few months I just want to build my name and my work, to show the many individuals in the world what the power of makeup can do!
